3 Simple Steps to a Healthy Response to Stress
Sometimes I want to bury my head in the sand, wishing all of life’s constant demands – like challenging relationships, my endless list of things to do, and housecleaning – would go away. Life just gets plain overwhelming sometimes. Doesn’t it?
If you’re nodding your head “yes,” then I’m sure, like me, you’ve asked yourself, “Why do I get so stressed out? What can I do about it?”
The “why” question requires some self-reflection, but the “what” question can easily be answered with advice from my friend Sherron, who says: “Stop trippin’! This is ridiculous. Re-DI-rect!”
In other words, developing a healthy response to stress is the quickest way to relieve the feeling of being overwhelmed.
