What No One Tells You About Trying to Lose Weight

So, within the last few years I have gained 20 pounds…yep you heard me 20 pounds! I never really worried about this weight gain as I am a very active person and figured it was all muscle. Well, that is definitely not the case, while I did gain muscle I also gained some extra jiggle. This summer I am in two weddings and now, of course, two months out from the first wedding I am stressing over these extra pounds. In the process of trying to lose these 20 pounds, I have learned a thing or two… Here are a few things that no one tells you about trying to lose weight: It Sucks! Losing weight sucks. Plain and simple. It sucks trying to work out like crazy while following a strict diet. It sucks trying to be social over food and drinks while trying to make healthy choices.
